Junior High School Life: Unexpected stories!

In my junior high school life, a lot of things have happened. Some are happy, sad, and some are still even unknown!

Before I went the first time to Kalam Kudus Christian Junior High School, I had a long holiday, about 1 - 1,5 month. On that holiday I went to Singapore as my late birthday present from my parents. We stayed at my father's friend's apartment. The first day I went to Ikea. The next two days, I got sick, so the whole day I stayed in the apartment getting some rest. When I got well again, I went to Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, Chinese & Japanese Garden, Orchard Garden & the Botanical Garden, the Terracota Museum and others. It was so fun, but sadly I have to go home after a week there.

The next day I'm back from Singapore, I went straight to school. I met 3 new friends in my class. The others are the same peoples from my elementary school.
I had 2 bestfriends at that time. I always go with them. They are K-Pop maniacs. I like K-Pop but I don't do 'maniacs'. So if they make me angry because I was neglected over K-Pop, I'd just keep my mouth shut.

In junior high school, I also play basketball, and got in to the girls team. We went  to some basketball competition, and we always won. It was a fun thing to remember. It was funny, because I just started playing basketball when I was in 6th grade. In 7th grade, I got better. But I don't feel I'm appreciated much. I became disliked basketball more and more because of the other team mates. There's someone I don't like because they got in because they 'schooled' at a basketball place. And everyone acts like she's the most professional player, the best player and else. I'm not saying I'm better, but it is not fair. Some others I don't like because they are way too stupid. When a ball comes, suddenly they ran away because they were afraid of the ball. If she's like that, she better doesn't go in the team. The other one is just too stupid! Her body is big, but she acts like she can do basketball. If we tell her she's wrong about something, she'll be angry and make fights with us. But if we make a mistake, we have to follow what she says. It's really annoying.

My life story: Adventures of my life

Hello, my name is Jessica Viona Setiawan Buffet. I was born on 2nd February 1999 in Salatiga city, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. When I was 3 years old, I moved to Solo/Surakarta, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia.

In Solo, I schooled at Kalam Kudus Christian Kindergarten. I remembered, one day in my kindergarten life, I once fell and hurt my head because I didn't want to hold hands with my mom! Hahaha! Also once i got kissed by a boy. MEH. Hahaha!! I remember, I won a contest, that is a 'Nice Teeth Contest', number 1 ;) I was so proud, I brought the trophy to school, because if we win something, we must bring the trophy to school and the school will announce it when we have a
ceremony on Mondays.

I went to Kalam Kudus Christian Elementary School. I had a lot of experiences, happy, sad, angry, and etc. I remember in elementary school I'm the kid with the most extracurricular activity. I had 6 or 7 extracurricular activity in one year! I had singing, comic, drawing, table tennis, and other extracurricular activities. Everyday I go home maybe at 4 o'clock or more. Then, each year I became bored, so every year I lessened my extracurricular activities.

Inside the elementary school, I remembered I went to 1B, 2E, 3A, 4E, 5C. Now, my 1st till 5th class of elementary school is in Pasar Legi area. My 6th class of elementary school is in the Kalam Kudus Christian Junior High School complex. So in 6th grade I went to the junior high school complex area. In my elementary school moments, I loved 6th grade the most. I loved my life in 6th grade, I'm a 6E member. I got in a 'gang' in 6E: CBC  that is Cekel Botak Community. Not a lot of people can get to this 'gang', and we all the members feels so special to each other!

Then I got in Kalam Kudus Christian Junior High School. Before that, I had a holiday to Singapore with my mom and dad. Then, in school I made friends with 2 people, both girls, and they are K-Pop maniacs.They often hurt me because they neglected me, and adores K-Pop better. Now, I'm not friends with them again. They accused me so badly, and I hated them very much. But I know it doesn't do any good. So I just have to forget about it and make friends with other peoples.

Beside that, I lost my love in junior high just few days ago. He said I'm not fun anymore, that I'm cold, not easily interested,and etc. It hurts me so much more,when we fought and he finally ended up saying that now he had moved on, forgetting about me, and found another love. I hate him now. And I helped his brother,just to take revenge, but I haven't known the updates now. He (the boy) likes to say "F**k", "sh*t", and other bad words in Twitter, so I screen captured it, and gave it to his little brother via LINE because he asked me to. I haven't moved on, but I was thinking about to move on and forget about him forever. I mean, if he really did love me, he wouldn't give up and moved on so quickly. That means, he already got someone else in his heart when he told me he still loved me. That's the kind of a boy I really don't like.That's what made me hated him now. I hope that I can forgive him someday.Just someday..

I think that story will be the end of my story this month,  maybe gonna update again sometime.

Alasan kekuasaan presiden harus dibatasi!

Alasan kekuasaan presiden harus dibatasi adalah supaya presiden tidak menyalahgunakan kekuasaan (abuse of power), tidak sewenang-wenang memerintah negara.

Diberlakukan UUD 1945 yang membatasi jabatan presiden selama 5 tahun saja, dan apabila presiden melakukan hal yang kurang baik, bisa di copot masa jabatannya.

Hama, gulma dan Penyakit pada tanaman - Tugas B2 KKJHS 2012/2013

HAMA
Hama tumbuhan adalah organisme yang menyerang tumbuhan sehingga pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya terganggu. Hama yang menyerang tumbuhan antara lain :

Wereng:
Wereng adalah sejenis kepik yang dapat membuat daun & batang tumbuhan menjadi berlubang, kering, dan akhirnya mati. Hama wereng ini dapat dikendalikan dengan cara – cara sebagai betikut :

a. Pengaturan pola tanam, yaitu dengan melakukan penanaman secara serentak maupun dengan pergiliran tanaman. Pergiliran tanaman dilakukan untuk memutus siklus hidup wereng dengan cara menanam tanaman palawija atau tanah dibiarkan selama 1 – 2 bulan.

b. Pengandalian hayati, yaitu dengan menggunakan musuh alami wereng, misalnya laba – laba predator Lycosa Pseudoannulata, kepik Microvelia douglasi dan Cyrtorhinuss lividipenis, kumbang Paederuss fuscipes, Ophinea nigrofasciata, dan Synarmonia octomaculata.

c. Pengandalian kimia, yaitu dengan menggunakan insektisida, dilakukan apabila cara lain tidak mungkin untuk dilakukan. Penggunaan insektisida diusahakan sedemikan rupa sehingga efektif, efisien, dan aman bagi lingkungan.

GULMA

Gulma akan berkompetisi dengan tanaman utama untuk mendapatkan unsur hara yang diperlukan pertumbuhannya. Gulma dapat menjadi tempat persembunyian hama. Pembersihan gulma sangat penting untuk menekan perkembangan hama yang dapat menyerang tumbuhan.

Berdasarkan karaktristik yang dimiliki, gulma dibedakan menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu teki, rumput, dan gulma daun lebar.

1.      Teki
Teki memiliki daya tahan luar biasa terhadap pengendalian mekanis, karena memiliki umbu batang di dalam tanah yang mampu bertahan berbulan – bulan. Contohnya adalah teki ladang (Cyperus rotundus).

2.      Rumput
Berdaun sempit seperti teki tetapi menghasilkan stolon. Stolon ini di dalam tanah berbentuk jaringan rumit yang sulit diatasi secara mekanik. Contohnya adalah alang – alang (Imperata cylindrica).

3.      Gulma Daun Lebar
Berbagai macam gulma dari ordo Dicotyledoneae termasuk dalam kelompok ini. Gulma ini biasanya tumbuh pada akhir masa budi daya. Kompetisi terhadap tanaman utama berupa kompetisi cahaya. Contoh dari gulma berdaun lebar ini adalah daun sendok. Banyak macam gulma dari ordo Dicotyledoneae masuk dalam kelompok ini.

Pengendalian gulma memerlukan strategi yang khas untuk setiap kasus. Beberapa hal yang perlu dipertimbangkan sebelum melakukan pengendalian gulma antara lain sebagai berikut :

a) Jenis gulma dominan

b) Tanaman budi daya utama

c) Alternatif pengendalian yang tersedia

d) Dampak ekonomi dan ekologi

Saat ini cukup banyak pembasmi gulma yang dijual di took-toko pertanian. Namun kita perlu berhati-hati dalam memilih & menggunakan pembasmi gulma. Tujuan pembersihan gulma antara lain untuk mengurangi tumbuhan pengganggu yang akan menjadi pesaing tanaman utama, dan gulma merupakan inang alternatif & tempat persembunyian hama penyakit.

PENYAKIT PADA TANAMAN

Penyakit yang menyerang tumbuhan banyak disebabkan oleh mikroorganisme, misalnya jamur, bakteri, alga, dan virus. 

            1.      Jamur

Penyebaran jenis penyakit ini dapat disebabkan oleh angin, air, serangga, atau sentuhan tangan. Penyakit ini menyebabkan bagian tumbuhan yang terserang, misalnya buah, akan menjadi busuk. Jika menyerang bagian ranting dan permukaan daun, akan menyebabkan bercak – bercak kecokelatan. Dari bercak – bercak tersebut akan keluar jamur berwarna putih atau oranye yang dapat meluas ke seluruh permukaan ranting atau daun sehingga pada akhirnya kering dan rontok. Batang yang terserang umumnya akan membusuk, mula – mula dari arah kulit kemudian menjalar ke dalam, dan kemudian membusukkan jaringan kayu. Jaringan yang terserang akan mengeluarkan getah atau cairan. Jika kondisi ini dibiarkan, jaringan kayu akan membusuk, kemudian seluruh dahan yang ada di atasnya akan layu dan mati.

Contoh penyakit yang disebabkan oleh jamur adalah sebagai berikut.

a) Penyakit pada padi.

b) Penyakit embun tepung.

2.      Bakteri

Bakteri dapat membusukkan daun, batang, dan akar tumbuhan. Bagian tumbuh tumbuhan yang diserang bakteri akan mengeluarkan lendir keruh, baunya sangat menusuk, dan lengket jika disentuh. Setelah membusuk, lama – kelamaan tumbuhan akan mati. Gejala CPVD adalah kuncup daun menjadi kecil dan berwarna kuning, buah menjadi kuning, sehingga lama – kelamaan akan mati. Penyakit CVPD yang belum parang dapat disembuhkan dengan terramycin, yang merupakan sejenis antibiotik.

3.      Virus

Penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus cukup berbahaya karena dapat menular dan menyebar ke seluruh tumbuhan dengan cepat. Tumbuhan yang sudah terlanjur diserang sulit untuk disembuhkan. Penularan penyakit ini melalui perantara serangga.

4.      Alga

Keberadaan alga juga perlu diwaspadai karena dapat menyebabkan bercak karat merah pada daun tumbuhan. Tumbuhan yang biasanya diserang antara lain jeruk, jambu biji, dan rambutan. Bagian tumbuhan yang diserang oleh alga biasanya bagian daun, ditandai adanya bercak berwarna kelabu kehijauan pada daun, kemudian pada permukaannya tumbuh rambut berwarnya cokelat kemerahan.

Narrative text from Japan - The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter

One day, while walking in the bamboo forest, an old, childless bamboo cutter called Taketori no Okina (竹取翁, "the Old Man who Harvests Bamboo") came across a mysterious, shining stalk of bamboo. After cutting it open, he found inside it a baby the size of his thumb. He rejoiced to find such a beautiful girl and took her home. He and his wife raised her as their own child and named her Kaguya-hime (かぐや姫 accurately, Nayotake-no-Kaguya-hime "princess of flexible bamboos scattering light"). Thereafter, Taketori no Okina found that whenever he cut down a stalk of bamboo, inside would be a small nugget of gold. Soon he became rich. Kaguya-hime grew from a small baby into a woman of ordinary size and extraordinary beauty. At first, Taketori no Okina tried to keep her away from outsiders, but over time the news of her beauty had spread.

Eventually, five princes came to Taketori no Okina's residence to ask for Kaguya-hime's hand in marriage. The princes eventually persuaded Taketori no Okina to tell a reluctant Kaguya-hime to choose from among them. Kaguya-hime concocted impossible tasks for the princes, agreeing to marry the one who managed to bring her his specified item. That night, Taketori no Okina told the five princes what each must bring. The first was told to bring her the stone begging bowl of the Buddha from India, the second a jewelled branch from the island of Hōrai, the third the legendary robe of the fire-rat of China, the fourth a colored jewel from a dragon's neck, and the final prince the cowrie which was born from swallows.

Realizing that it was an impossible task, the first prince returned with an expensive bowl, but after noticing that the bowl did not glow with holy light, Kaguya-hime saw through his deception. Likewise, two other princes attempted to deceive her with fakes, but also failed. The fourth gave up after encountering a storm, while the final prince lost his life (severely injured in some versions) in his attempt.

After this, the Emperor of Japan, Mikado, came to see the strangely beautiful Kaguya-hime and, upon falling in love, asked her to marry him. Although he was not subjected to the impossible trials that had thwarted the princes, Kaguya-hime rejected his request for marriage as well, telling him that she was not of his country and thus could not go to the palace with him. She stayed in contact with the Emperor, but continued to rebuff his requests and marriage proposals.

That summer, whenever Kaguya-hime saw the full moon, her eyes filled with tears. Though her adoptive parents worried greatly and questioned her, she was unable to tell them what was wrong. Her behaviour became increasingly erratic until she revealed that she was not of this world and must return to her people on the Moon. 

In some versions of this tale, it is said that she was sent to the Earth as a temporary punishment for some crime, while others say it was for safety during a celestial war, and that all of the gold that Taketori no Okina had been finding had in fact been a stipend that had been sent down to pay for Kaguya-hime's upkeep. As the day of her return approached, the Emperor set many guards around her house to protect her from the Moon people, but when an embassy of "Heavenly Beings" arrived at the door of Taketori no Okina's house, the guards were blinded by a strange light. Kaguya-hime announced that, though she loved her many friends on Earth, she must return with the Moon people to her true home. 

She wrote sad notes of apology to her parents and to the Emperor, then gave her parents her own robe as a memento. She then took a small taste of the elixir of life, attached it to her letter to the Emperor, and gave it to a guard officer. As she handed it to him, the feather robe was placed on her shoulders, and all of her sadness and compassion for the people of the Earth were forgotten. The heavenly entourage took Kaguya-hime back to Tsuki-no-Miyako ("the Capital of the Moon"), leaving her earthly foster parents in tears.

The parents became very sad and were soon put to bed sick. The officer returned to the Emperor with the items Kaguya-hime had given him as her last mortal act, and reported what had happened. The Emperor read her letter and was overcome with sadness. He asked his servants, "Which mountain is the closest place to Heaven?", to which one replied the Great Mountain of Suruga Province. The Emperor ordered his men to take the letter to the summit of the mountain and burn it, in the hope that his message would reach the distant princess. The men were also commanded to burn the elixir of immortality since the Emperor did not wish to live forever without being able to see her. The legend has it that the word immortality (不死 fushi, or fuji) became the name of the mountain, Mount Fuji. It is also said that the kanji for the mountain, 富士山 (literally "Mountain Abounding with Warriors"), is derived from the Emperor's army ascending the slopes of the mountain to carry out his order. It is said that the smoke from the burning still rises to this day. (In the past, Mount Fuji was much more volcanically active.)
