Movements In Plants

Movements in plants is grouped into 3 which is:

1. Endogenous movement
2. Exogenous movement
3. Hygroscopic movement

>Endogenous movement is movement that is caused by the stimulus that is from inside the plant.

>Exogenous movement is movement that is caused by the stimulus that is from outside the plant.
Exogenous movement is grouped into 3 which is:
1. Tropism movement
2. Nastic movement
3. Taxis movement

Then, Tropism movement is grouped into 5 that is:
1. Geotropism
2. Phototropism
3. Thigmotropism
4. Hydrotropism
5. Chemotropism

Nastic movement is also grouped into 5 that is:
1. Photonasty
2. Nictinasty
3. Thigmonasty
4. Thermonasty
5. Complex nasty

Then, Taxis movement is divided into 4:
1. Phototaxis
2. Chemotaxis
3. Galvanotaxis
4. Passive taxis

>Hygrospcopic movement is movement that is caused by the change of water level in plants.
